AECOM is on the lookout for a skilled SENIOR OCS (Overhead Catenary Systems) Engineer to enhance our World Class Rail division.
The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Overhead Catenary Systems (OCS) Engineering team, undertaking a range of engineering responsibilities that encompass planning, conceptual design, detailed engineering, constructability assessments, and cost estimation. This role offers a chance to contribute to significant projects with major transit authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the lead engineer for medium to large-scale projects.
- Utilize expertise in rail design, rail operations, and construction related to railroads, overhead catenary systems, traction power substations, signaling and communication systems, and track configurations.
- Create overhead catenary systems layout drawings, profiles, hanger tabulations, erection diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to Overhead Catenary Systems (OCS).
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in railway systems (Overhead Catenary Systems/Traction Power/Track).
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 12 years of varied experience within the rail industry.
