Job Description

Leidos is a leading provider of innovative technologies and solutions to the U.S. Army, seeking a talented Cybersecurity Specialist to join its team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical direction to IA staff on the TF2200 contract.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance of supported systems with regulatory requirements.
  • Enforce information security policies, conduct risk assessments, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Protect information and maintain security controls for TF2200 systems to reduce risk.
  • Support continuous monitoring tasks, including auditing and security patching.
  • Respond to IT troubleshooting requests and perform regular cybersecurity updates.
  • Assist in maintaining the security posture of TF2200 systems.
  • Support the RMF authorization process and develop IS BoE artifacts.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A relevant BS degree with eight or more years of applicable ISSM or ISSO experience, or a relevant MS degree with six or more years of relevant experience.
  • Understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and experience with DoD A&A processes.
  • Knowledge of government security regulations, such as NIST SP 800.53 Rev 4 and DCSA NISPOM.
  • Significant hands-on experience supporting system security, hardware, software, and network components.
  • Computing Environment (CE) certificate or certification in Windows.
  • Excellent documentation skills, communication skills, and self-motivation.
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are desired:

  • Experience with configuring Windows systems IAW DISA STIGs and using automated STIG tools.
  • Experience troubleshooting across various system components.
  • Experience with Army Space Control systems and USASMDC customers.
