We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Motrex LLC. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing various direct material categories in procurement activities supporting our industrial manufacturing and recycling businesses.
Key Responsibilities- Procurement Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute a procurement strategy that supports the procurement vision and leads activities for our industrial manufacturing and recycling business segments.
- Supplier Management: Provide counsel and guidelines to senior management for all procurement issues, researching and providing direction for development of new and additional suppliers for our business segments.
- Cost Reduction Initiatives: Effectively and efficiently utilize procurement resources to ensure the correct deployment of the general procurement strategy of cost reduction initiatives.
- Commodity Management: Support the commodity management strategy for supplier consultation & selection, including negotiating and managing contracts with local/specific suppliers.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Support and/or lead all activities related to the supply qualification system in plant, according with the responsibility matrix defined.
- Supplier Performance Management: Manage supplier performance, make recommendations, and collaborate closely with functional stakeholders regarding plant needs and supply chain inefficiencies.
- Digitization Efforts: Support digitization efforts in making processes more effective and efficient.
- Education: B.S. in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering is preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of supply chain procurement experience.
- Skills: Elevated level of integrity, ability to lead across cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment, ability to multitask while maintaining attention to details and deadlines, ability to work well with others in a team environment, proficient in Microsoft 365, action-oriented, solution-driven, and able to work in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication skills, analytical skills to ensure both internal and external requests are fulfilled.
