Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance duties to ensure the upkeep of our community grounds, buildings, and equipment.
  • Respond to service requests in a timely and cost-efficient manner, addressing issues with plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks, including fixing wall and floor coverings, repairing furniture and fixtures, and performing minor electrical and plumbing work.
  • Participate in painting and refurbishing projects, as well as maintaining carpets and hard surfaces.
  • Work with our team to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our residents.

Requirements:

  • One year of maintenance experience.
  • Ability to work on call if needed.
  • General understanding of systems, including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and code compliance.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, fire prevention, life, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to respond to emergency calls outside of scheduled work hours.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
