Job Summary

CHS Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver/Equipment Operator to join our team in Walla Walla, WA. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating equipment, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a variety of equipment, including sprayers, airflow machines, and forklifts, to load and unload grain, agronomy, and feed products.
  • Manage inventory, including receiving, storing, and shipping products, and conducting regular inspections to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Develop relationships with local farmers to understand their chemical and fertilizer needs and provide solutions to meet those needs.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Load and unload railcars and trucks, and conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in operations and/or trucking operations.
  • Must meet minimum age requirement.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Maintain or be able to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends to meet business demands.
