Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Consultant Specialists, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the performance of raw material suppliers, ensuring the Material Requirement Plan can be realized.

• Proactively manage supplier performance to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Develop and maintain Procurement Master Data in SAP to support the Material Requirements Plan.
• Collaborate with category managers and strategic buyers to implement supply strategies.
• Coordinate communication with stakeholders to ensure effective supply chain management.
• Lead and coordinate projects to improve procurement processes and supplier performance.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure supply chain efficiency.

• Minimum 4 years' experience in buying/planning aspects of an integrated ERP environment, preferably with SAP.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in Purchasing and Vendor Management.
• Associates degree preferred or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Supply Chain or Material Management experience, with spare parts knowledge a plus.
• Professional certifications (CPIM, CSCP, ISM, APICS) preferred.
