Autism Support Educator

New Story Schools is in search of a dedicated Special Education Teacher to guide and support students with Autism in grades 7-12 (up to age 21). In this role, you will be pivotal in fostering the educational success of our students while managing the classroom team and ensuring effective collaboration among all staff members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) process, which encompasses IEP formulation, teamwork with multidisciplinary professionals, and necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design and deliver tailored services.
- Provide leadership and direction to classroom staff, ensuring a supportive learning environment.
- Uphold student confidentiality in accordance with agency policies, FERPA, HIPAA regulations, and counselor-student confidentiality.
