Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the anesthesia team to align patient requirements and care strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and organized patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Provide support and guidance to patients, addressing any concerns regarding their preoperative process.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited Nursing School.
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Georgia or eligibility to obtain.
  • Valid BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
  • Current ACLS certification.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Operating Room, Pre-Operative/Recovery, or Intensive Care Unit settings.
  • Experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of nursing principles, practices, and legal considerations.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record systems.
  • Ability to maintain a positive demeanor in a dynamic work environment.
  • Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Articulate telephone communication skills with a pleasant tone.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and discretion in all interactions.
