About the RoleThe Registered Nurse in the NICU is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to newborns and their families. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in neonatal care
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2 years of NICU experience
- Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
