Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Export Control M&A Manager to join our team at Schneider Electric. As a key member of our Global Export Control Center of Excellence, you will play a critical role in driving the successful implementation of our export control program in acquired entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the deployment and adherence of our global export control program as a member of the Global Export Control Center of Excellence.
  • Support the development, management, and enhancement of M&A, post-merger integration, and divestment-related export control and sanction compliance processes, documentation, and tools.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including M&A project management teams, M&A legal counsels, post-merger integration teams, and entity single points of contact.
  • Manage third-party vendors providing M&A, post-merger integration, and divestment export control and sanction compliance due diligence services.
  • Serve as the global subject-matter expert on M&A, post-merger integration, and divestment within the Export Control Center of Excellence.
  • Lead and support export control and sanction compliance pre-acquisition activities, post-merger integration activities, and investment activities.
  • Report and communicate in a timely manner to relevant stakeholders on the development and changes of export control and sanction compliance regulations and requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Competent knowledge and experience of international export control regulations and export control program development and management.
  • Competent knowledge and prior M&A, post-merger integration, and divestment working experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally when required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience working in a multinational company.
