Job Overview

Position Summary: The Quality Systems Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the auditing, maintenance, and documentation of all Food Safety initiatives in accordance with ISO9001 and ISO22000 standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Creation, modification, review, and auditing of documentation to ensure timeliness.
  2. Conduct internal audits for both ISO 22000 and ISO 9001 systems.
  3. Manage certifications for Organic, Gluten Free, and Kosher products.
  4. Lead and execute Mock recalls, documenting findings effectively.
  5. Perform external audits of suppliers and service providers.
  6. Conduct Management reviews biannually for both standards, adhering to required protocols.
  7. Maintain the corrective action log for internal audits.
  8. Follow up on corrective actions identified during internal audits.
  9. Deliver food safety and quality training sessions using Alchemy.
  10. Actively participate as a member of the Food Safety and Quality team.
  11. Ensure all HACCP documentation and requirements are met.
  12. Prepare for and lead external audits.
  13. Establish and communicate Food Safety objectives.
  14. Train internal auditors on both ISO standards.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the food industry is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Quality Systems Management is required.
  • HACCP certification; internal auditor certification is preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Dairy or Food Science.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred certifications include HACCP and Internal Auditor certification.

Professional Development:

  • Training in ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 standards, along with lead internal auditor training for both.
