Job Title: General Laborer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled General Laborer to join our team at Mark Andy, Inc. in Chesterfield, MO.

Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of this role is to perform a range of responsibilities, including painting and inspecting parts, as well as setting up and operating cut-off saws.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate cut-off saws, including determining material type and length, setting stops, and using hand tools to cut parts to required length.
  • Inspect parts using blueprints, calipers, and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Perform quality checks as required and complete part layout on aluminum plate using blueprint, tape measure, and other tools.
  • Maintain hydraulic and coolant fluid levels in saws, change saw blades as needed, and clean out filters.
  • Follow 5S principles and keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Use daily dispatch report and blueprint to locate and collect parts.
  • Prepare parts for paint by masking, plugging holes, and determining requirements by reading part blueprints.
  • Follow all required ISO procedures and inspect parts visually for scratches, inks, rust, and other defects.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of painting experience in automotive or similar applications.
  • Machine Operator experience.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
