Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Dietitian to join our team at Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our Dietary Services Department, you will play a vital role in providing optimal nutritional care to our patients and residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with attending physicians to determine patient dietary needs
  • Develop and implement personalized nutrition care plans
  • Provide clinical dietetic services, including patient counseling and education
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
  • Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration from the American Dietetic Association
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a course of study approved by the American Dietetic Association
  • Two years of professional dietetic or nutrition experience
  • At least one year of experience comparable to the next lower level in this series
