About the Role:
The Healthcare Unit Coordinator will be responsible for performing general clerical and receptionist duties incidental to work on patient care units, including preparing, compiling and maintaining records in nursing units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of duties relative to admission, discharge and transfer of patients.
- Provide administrative support to the healthcare team, including preparation of documents and reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring confidentiality and security of patient information.
- Assist with communication between patients, families and healthcare staff.
