Position Summary

We are seeking a Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to become a vital part of our DISH Wireless team. The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Designing and implementing CI/CD automation workflows for our 5G infrastructure utilizing AWS CodePipeline and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Setting up tools for the deployment of new functionalities and the upkeep of the network
  • Working closely with stakeholders to relay pipeline progress and scrutinize logs for deployment integrity
  • Overseeing third-party vendor outputs and ensuring compliance with DISH standards
  • Collaborating with cloud service providers and regional markets to strategize network release timelines
Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in programming, systems integration, or software deployment
  • Proficiency in tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, CI/CD, and DevOps methodologies
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, Software Defined Networking (SDN), 5G mobile network frameworks, and network orchestration
  • Knowledge in VLAN, IP networking, DNS, load balancing, and firewall configurations
