Key Responsibilities:
The Clinical Director is accountable for the comprehensive planning and coordination of clinical and nursing personnel in designated patient care areas, ensuring the highest standards of patient care. As a vital member of the Nursing Management team, the Clinical Director contributes to the establishment of departmental goals, philosophy, and standards. Collaboration with physicians and department heads is essential to meet the patient care needs across various disciplines.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $120,206 - $150,258 annually. Please note that this range reflects market averages and may vary based on several factors including location, specialty, and experience.

Qualifications:
Education: A Master of Science Degree in Nursing or Nursing Administration from an accredited institution is required. Candidates with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and a commitment to obtaining an MSN will also be considered.
Experience:

  • A minimum of three years of clinical inpatient acute care experience, with at least one year in a nursing leadership role preferred.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving techniques and the ability to adapt to a diverse patient population.
  • Strong time management, verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking, and organizational abilities.
  • Demonstrated capability to collaborate effectively with physicians and nursing leaders.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) is required.
Certifications:
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in New York State.
  • Completion of ACLS course required upon hire.
  • NIMS 100, 200, 700, and 800 certifications must be obtained within one month of hire.
  • Certification in a relevant specialty is preferred.

Physical and Working Conditions:
Travel to multiple facilities may be required. The role demands physical capability to perform tasks such as repositioning patients, lifting supplies, and responding swiftly to emergencies. Candidates must possess visual and auditory skills necessary for interpreting environmental cues.

The working environment is generally clean and well-maintained, with occasional exposure to various hazards. The position may involve irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to support operational and community initiatives.
