Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with operating technicians, mechanics, and engineers to enhance equipment reliability and performance
- Install equipment at the component level while adhering to state and plant codes, policies, and procedures
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery and electrical equipment according to specifications and instructions
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring tools and testing instruments for repairs and calibration
- Maintain and improve equipment reliability through computerized maintenance systems and repair records
- Respond to electrical and maintenance issues in the plant
- Share knowledge with other technicians regarding maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment
- Develop skills in PLC programming and software
- Work with computers for record-keeping and documentation functions
- Interpret technical drawings, electrical and pneumatic schematics
- Must be willing to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Requirements

  • TWO (2) years of experience in electrical and/or instrumentation in a manufacturing or industrial environment or a Two (2) year degree or higher in Electrical/Electronic or Industrial Technology
  • Experience troubleshooting using PLC's
  • Experience working with and troubleshooting electrical systems that use 480V, 3 Phase and lower voltages
