Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Per Diem Emergency Department Nurse to work in our emergency department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing and be able to work a variety of shifts, including nights.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting
  • Assess and prioritize patients' needs, providing individualized care and treatment
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to physicians
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
  • Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, pushing, bending, and pulling
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
