Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process Engineer Intern to join our team. As a Process Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, learn from industry leaders, and develop your skills in process engineering and design.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Development
- Develop project documents and deliverables, including block and process flow diagrams, user requirements specifications, equipment lists, and piping and instrumentation diagrams.
- Assist with the development of conceptual designs and coordinate with the design team under the direction of the project manager.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Work with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and construction professionals to ensure seamless project execution.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.
- Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, or Biochemical Engineering.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote).
- Interest in the food and beverage or life sciences industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop actionable insights.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working towards Fundamental of Engineering Exam registration or completion.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D collaboration tools (Navisworks, BIM360 Suite, Assemble).
- Experience with process optimization and lean manufacturing principles.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards within the AEC industry.
- Prior internship or co-op experience in Process Engineering or a related field.
