Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team at Future Motion Inc. The successful candidate will work on a production assembly line performing standardized work defined by work instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing repetitive tasks with high precision and accuracy, adhering to defined work instructions and sequences.
  • Conducting on-line inspections to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
  • Assuming ownership of assigned tasks and collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals.
  • Utilizing hand tools, screwdrivers, wrenches, torque drivers, and other small equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Developing expertise in novel assembly procedures and custom tooling or test methods.
  • Operating complex manufacturing equipment with minimal supervision.
  • Reporting functional and process failures to relevant support groups and leaders.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Work Environment: The Manufacturing Technician will be required to perform physical work for extended periods, up to 12 hours per day, with frequent weekend work and overtime expected.

Requirements:

  • Punctuality and a professional attitude are essential.
  • Ability to lift, push, and carry objects weighing up to 35 pounds frequently.
  • Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal.
