Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team in Stepdown Intermediate Care PCU at Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring effective coordination of care among interdisciplinary teams.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider certification obtained within one month of hire date required.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or equivalent required.
