The Yard Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the lumberyard, ensuring efficient and safe workflow. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service.

• Supervise Yard Crew: Train and mentor new team members, coordinate workflow, and address employee concerns.
• Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve complaints in a timely manner.
• Inventory Management: Oversee yard inventory, notify management of discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.
• Safety and Security: Perform routine safety checks, ensure compliance with company guidelines, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Operational Support: Assist with loading and unloading products, stock materials, and perform other related duties as assigned.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certifications: Forklift operator certification required.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Standing and Movement: Prolonged periods of standing and moving around the yard and warehouse.
• Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift up to 80 pounds, occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds, and push/pull 50-pound loads.
• Repetitive Movements: Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods.
