Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement group content aligned with our program philosophy and evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
  • Utilize a range of activities, including art, music, games, and movement, to promote patient well-being.
  • Provide individualized services as needed.
Requirements
  • Board certification in Occupational Therapy Assistant, Recreational Therapist, or Expressive Therapist.
  • 2-5 years of experience in pediatric behavioral health, preferably on an inpatient unit.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with children and adolescents with behavioral health needs.
  • Pool position, as needed, with no benefits or PTO.
Education and Certification
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Board certification in one of the following areas: Art Therapist (ATR-BC), Dance/Movement Therapist (ADTA), Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (NCTRC), Music Therapist (MT-BC), Occupational Therapy Assistant (NBCOT).
