Compliance and Training Coordinator

PLS Financial Services, Inc. is a leading provider of alternative financial services with a strong presence in 12 states.
Job Overview:
This role involves working closely with PLS stores to ensure field employees are compliant with internal policies and external regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regularly conduct store operational assessments and prepare reports for DMs and SMs
- Collaborate with Compliance to identify and improve store practices
- Work with AML Compliance to enhance store practices regarding AML and OFAC
- Participate in Western Union reviews and audits, and report results to internal partners
- Oversee user credential verification and document management
- Support Compliance Department with regulatory exams and consumer complaints
- Provide coaching and support to store employees
- Communicate with internal partners on compliance issues and audit results
- Distribute important communications and newsletters
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in a related field
- Strong understanding of internal controls and risk management
- Certification or experience in audit, risk, or compliance a plus
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Effective project management and organizational skills
