Job Title: Radiology Technologist

UNC Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in Carrboro, North Carolina.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in our radiology department. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and explaining exams
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, including cleaning equipment and disposing of biohazardous waste
  • Assist physicians and nurses with procedures, including administering medications and monitoring patient condition
  • Perform quality control checks on equipment and report any issues to management
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible and become registered within one (1) year from date of hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification –or- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
