Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Customer Service: Promote and sell products and/or services to meet customer needs, ensuring excellent customer service and building strong relationships with our customers.
  • Inventory Management: Verify receipting-in of shipments, assist with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders, and maintain accurate inventory levels to ensure efficient stock management.
  • Merchandise Display and Presentation: Assist with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays to showcase our products in an attractive and appealing manner.
  • Warehouse and Store Maintenance: Assist in keeping the parts department clean and orderly, and ensure all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order.
  • Reporting and Communication: Follow up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the manager, and maintain open communication with the team to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent experience, with basic data entry/keyboarding skills and basic parts and machinery knowledge.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to use the John Deere Parts Catalog computer application, and a fork lift license is preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to work in a team environment, lift items weighing up to 75 lbs, and maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency.
