Key Responsibilities- Perform procedures, setups, simulations, and prescribed treatments under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist, Physicist, or Lead Radiation Therapist.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure accurate and efficient delivery of radiation therapy treatments.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of radiation therapy principles, techniques, and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental performance.
- AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) certification.
- ARRT Certified Radiation Therapy certification.
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification.
- Experience with Elekta (equipment) Mosaiq (EMR) systems.
- Three-year experience preferred as a Certified Radiation Therapist in a physician's office or hospital setting.
8-hour day, Monday through Friday.
Additional InformationKnowledge of radiation therapy principles and techniques.
Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records.
Effective interpersonal and patient communication skills.
