Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' recreational therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide patient-focused treatments to achieve maximum functional improvement, including evaluations, goal setting, and progress monitoring.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Participate in patient conferences and contribute to the development of new clinical programs.
- Baccalaureate degree in Recreational Therapy required.
- 9-12 months of clinical experience in an acute or long-term care setting.
- National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (CTRS) required.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
