Job Summary

The Sales Associate will play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the sales team in achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist customers in finding products, answering questions, and making recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and outdoor merchandise area.
  • Support the sales team in achieving sales goals, including restocking shelves, processing transactions, and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, as needed.
  • Participate in store meetings and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, and climb, as needed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Compensation and Benefits

Westlake Ace Hardware offers a competitive hourly rate of $17.28 per hour, as well as opportunities for advancement and professional growth.
