Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans, preparing patients for procedures, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our CT scanners.

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans on patients to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions.
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including positioning, explaining procedures, and administering contrast media as needed.
  • Operate CT scanners, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance to ensure high-quality images.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography (R) or Computed Tomography (CT) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • 1-2 years of experience in CT scanning or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
