We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Retail Management, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Store Operations: Assist the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results, including managing schedules, developing operational action plans, and identifying training opportunities to develop and grow the team.
- Team Leadership: Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports, ensuring mutual understanding and desired results. Identify training and development opportunities to enhance performance and provide feedback to direct leader.
- Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, including resolving operational customer concerns in the direct leader's absence.
- Inventory Management: Ensure that store personnel adhere to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies to minimize losses.
- Store Maintenance: Identify and rectify hazards, ensuring proper ergonomics and maintaining store equipment in proper working order. Maintain store cleanliness standards and proper store signage at all times.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment, with prior management experience preferred.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to stay organized and multi-task in a professional and efficient manner, following instructions and giving attention to detail.
- Competitive Wages: $23.00 per hour, with a wage increase to $24.00 per hour in Year 2.
