Position Summary:
The Histology Technician plays a crucial role in the preparation and processing of patient tissue specimens for detailed microscopic examination by the Pathologist. This position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the highest quality of pathology slides for review.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute histological technical procedures utilizing both manual and automated methods to produce quality pathology slides.
2. Provide essential surgical and medical support to the MOHS surgeon, ensuring patient care and safety throughout the process.
3. Prepare and organize patients' charts, forms, instruments, and necessary equipment for surgical procedures.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the surgical room and laboratory, ensuring supplies are adequately stocked.
5. Engage in both external and internal proficiency testing to uphold quality standards.
6. Prior experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
7. Demonstrate a willingness to learn related tasks and assist management and physicians as needed.
