Job Summary

United Way Miami is seeking a dedicated Infant Toddler Teacher to provide a nurturing environment for children aged 0-36 months. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging space that fosters social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement daily experience plans that build on children's prior experiences, promoting vocabulary growth and social skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to make decisions on materials, activities, and environments that support child learning and development.
  • Document each child's health, behavior, growth, and development, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Supervise children, adhering to safety and health protocols, and maintain a clean, organized, and accessible environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED and 45 DCF hours.
  • Flexibility, understanding of diversity and inclusion, good communication skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of concepts such as Visible Thinking, Multiple Intelligence, Dual Language, Inclusion, and Early Literacy strategies.
