Responsibilities
- Measure and set grade stakes for construction projects
- Perform land grading, structure excavations, and utility trench excavations
- Use a rotating laser, a grade rod, and GPS equipment to ensure proper site setups
- Establish benchmarks and elevations
- Safely guide trucks and heavy equipment onto embankments or slopes
Requirements
- Experience reading and understanding grade stakes
- Experience safely using gas and diesel-powered small machines
- Experience safely using pneumatic powered impact tools
- Experience with hand grading
We require candidates to meet these requirements and have the ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
Location
Mesa Contracting, LLC is located in the region.
Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug testing.
