Neurologist Opportunity in Bronx, NY

A leading health services organization in New York City is seeking a Board Certified Neurologist to join their team in the Bronx on a part-time basis. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and treat complex neurological disorders, including conducting neurological tests and interpreting results
  • Counsel patients on neurological disorders and provide education on treatment options
  • Order and interpret neuroimaging studies, as well as prescribe and administer treatment and medication
  • Monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Participate in neuroscience research activities and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field
  • Collaborate with medical professionals in the community and hospitals to provide comprehensive care
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of specialty training experience in an accredited Neurology Residency program
  • 1+ year of Neurology experience
  • Licensed to practice in the State of New York
  • Board Certified in Neurology
  • Accreditation with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
  • Federal DEA license
  • Excellent counseling and listening skills
  • Strong diagnostic and management skills
