Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team at Atkins Building Services & Products, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Empty trash cans, ash trays, and other waste receptacles into refuse collection bags.
  • Dust, damp wipe, and/or spot clean all horizontal and vertical surfaces.
  • Vacuum and/or dust/mop all office area floors and baseboards.
  • Clean restrooms, including pre-spraying disinfectants and bathroom cleaners.
  • Report any mechanical and/or electrical malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Ensure all lights are out and appropriate doors are locked when leaving an area.
  • Keep janitor closets clean, neat, and orderly.
  • Return all cleaning materials and supplies to the storeroom.

Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work evenings, Monday to Friday, and weekends as needed.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
