Job Overview

Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our clinical team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing patients with friendly, efficient, and timely delivery of prescribed medications.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide positive impressions to patients, visitors, and employees through words and tone.
Operate cash registers proficiently, including handling cash and other tenders of payment.
Stock new inventory and remove expired items from shelves.
Process prescriptions into the computer system accurately and label them as needed.
Perform all duties in full compliance with CHC/SEK policies and procedures.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Kansas Pharmacy Tech License.
Completes all required continuing education.
Successful completion of the Pharmacy Technician I checklist within 90 days of hire.

Working Conditions:

Regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
Frequently required to walk and occasionally required to sit.
Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Salary Description

Starting at $15 per hour. Pay based on experience.
