Cake Decorator Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cake Decorator Specialist to join our team at Sam's Club in Huntsville, AL. As a key member of our bakery production team, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing cakes and pastries that meet our high standards of quality and consistency.

Your primary goal will be to drive sales growth by delivering an exceptional customer experience through your work. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure that all bakery products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation.

To achieve this, you will need to have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. You must also be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.

• Plan and execute bakery production schedules to meet customer demand
• Create visually appealing cakes and pastries using various decorating techniques
• Maintain high standards of quality and consistency in all bakery products
• Work collaboratively with other associates to ensure smooth operations
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to resolve any issues or concerns

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 6 months' experience in fresh production area preferred
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00*. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
