Responsibilities- Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the Emergency Department
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- 1-3 years of experience in Emergency Department nursing
- Associate's Degree - Nursing or BSN
- Current Texas Registered Nursing license or identified compact state license
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- ALS certification within 6 months of hire
- ENPC certification within 12 months of hire
- TNCC or ATCN certification within 12 months of hire
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within 60 days of hire and annually
- CEN (certified emergency nurse) certification
