Program Overview
Magnolia Heights is seeking a skilled and compassionate Activity and Events Professional to develop and implement engaging activities and events that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere that encourages socialization, participation, and enjoyment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver high-quality activities and events that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents.
- Build and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff to ensure a seamless program delivery.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to tailor activities to meet individual resident needs and preferences.
- Manage resources, including budgeting and scheduling, to ensure efficient program execution.
Requirements and Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in event planning, coordination, or teaching, preferably in a senior living setting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work variable schedules, including evenings and weekends.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
