Job Title: Storeroom Manager

Loews Hotels is seeking a highly skilled Storeroom Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our storeroom and receiving department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate all activities associated with receiving and storeroom operations, ensuring adherence to established procedures.
  • Direct and manage the storeroom team, ensuring quality of performance and adherence to Loews Hotels standards.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of computerized receiving reports and transmittal of receiving documentation.
  • Monitor and maintain organized purchase order and receiving documentation files.
  • Ensure proper dating, pricing, and tagging of all food products, materials, and supplies placed into storeroom.
  • Oversee proper storage of materials and supplies received, ensuring appropriate refrigeration of perishable items and proper placement and rotation of stock.
  • Ensure established requisition procedures are followed for all materials and supplies leaving storeroom.
  • Monitor par levels for items in inventory, place requisition in Adaco when levels reach reorder point.
  • Monitor temperatures in refrigerated storage areas.
  • Ensure storeroom cleanliness and adherence to all food safety sanitation requirements.
  • Supervise and perform daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual inventories.
  • Coordinate receipt, storage, and delivery of packages delivered via common carrier.
Requirements:
  • Three to five years prior supervisory experience in hotel receiving, storeroom management, or centralized distribution hospitality chain operation.
  • Thorough knowledge of meat/produce/grocery specifications and standard grading classifications.
  • Ability to operate basic storeroom equipment.
  • Ability to stand, stoop, bend repetitively, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Working knowledge of computer software, including inventory control, Win95, Word, and Excel.
  • Effective management, leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
