About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Perioperative team at Huntington Hospital. As a Per Diem Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and comfort of surgical patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen, plan, coordinate, and educate patients undergoing surgical/procedural events
  • Facilitate communication within the multi-disciplinary team to identify patient-specific risks for perioperative complications
  • Minimize surgical delays and cancellations while maximizing postoperative recovery
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) considered with degree completion within 2 years
  • Minimum three years nursing experience, preferably in perioperative or critical care setting
  • Basic computer skills and experience with computerized documentation systems required
