About the Role

Astrion, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Ocean Engineering Technology Support (OETS) program. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the growth and execution strategy of our Navy Division.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct studies to evaluate the materials compatibility of handling system components and undersea systems, including existing fielded systems and new designs.
  • Design, fabricate, test, and deliver test hardware to allow comprehensive testing of helical anchors in the NAVFAC EXWC test trench.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum of ten years' practical experience in research, development, design, and use of advanced mechanical equipment for use in the deep ocean.
  • Professional Engineering registration (PE).
  • Security Clearance: Must be a US Citizen with a Top Secret clearance based on a T5 investigation and deemed eligible for SCI access.
