Job Description

The Youth Soccer Coach will be responsible for planning, instructing, and supervising youth development classes with a focus on soccer. This role requires a skilled coach who can create engaging and challenging lessons that cater to the needs of children of various age groups and skill levels. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with children, and possess a strong passion for soccer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Class Instruction: Plan and deliver high-quality soccer classes that cater to the needs of children, promoting their physical and emotional development.
  • Skill Development: Focus on developing the technical, tactical, and physical skills of young athletes, ensuring they have a fun and engaging experience.

  • Communication: Develop strong relationships with parents and children, providing regular updates on their progress and engaging in open communication.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., sports management, education) preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience coaching soccer or working with children in a related field.
  • Certifications: Possess relevant coaching certifications (e.g., USSF, USYSA) or be willing to obtain them.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with children and adults, strong organizational and time management skills.
