Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at UofL Health. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment and performing diagnostic procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate imaging equipment and perform diagnostic procedures in accordance with Radiologist's expectations and protocols.
  • Obtain patient history, explain routine procedures, and address patient concerns in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Prepare and administer barium salts or other chemical mixtures as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files as directed.
  • Clean and adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Temporary State of Kentucky Radiological License upon hire.
  • ARRT certification within 1 year of employment or when Kentucky License expires.
  • 2 years of previous experience in radiology preferred.
