We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team at Swedish Health Services. As a key member of our maternity care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to expectant mothers and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to patients during labor and delivery, prioritizing their physical and emotional needs.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by physicians, while maintaining a focus on patient safety and well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and shared understanding of care plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care guidelines.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Washington State Registered Nurse License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in labor and delivery or a related field.
