Role Summary:
United One Communications LLC is seeking a dedicated professional to oversee and enhance our cybersecurity measures. This role is pivotal in safeguarding our information systems and ensuring compliance with federal regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate a comprehensive Security Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) addressing all identified security vulnerabilities across the enterprise infrastructure.
  • Draft, manage, and uphold security-related documentation in accordance with DoDI 8510, including the Cybersecurity Strategy (CS) and Program Protection Plan (PPP).
  • Facilitate weekly discussions to monitor the security processes and the accreditation package status, while identifying resolutions for infrastructure challenges.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of applicable cybersecurity STIGs, checklists, or control requirements for each component or software within the enterprise infrastructure.
  • Administer Information Assurance scans utilizing approved tools (e.g., SCAP, ACAS) to ensure compliance with the latest security definitions.
  • Document all implementation details for assurance-directed guidelines, ensuring robust security measures for the JCSE Enterprise.
  • Support the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) in accordance with CNSSI 1253 and NIST revisions for Information Assurance controls.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining system policies and procedures related to network security and user account management.
  • Provide technical guidance to the cybersecurity team, enhancing the JCSE IA processes to ensure comprehensive network defense.
  • Collaborate with various organizations to address security concerns, accreditation, and waiver requests impacting connection approvals.
  • Advise on connection approvals, disapprovals, or modifications based on assessed security risks.
  • Offer system administration support across various platforms (e.g., Linux, Windows) to maintain and secure both classified and unclassified systems.
  • Ensure accurate configuration documentation for the JCSE Enterprise, including network diagrams and related technical information.
  • Guarantee the protection of data in transit in alignment with DoD policies.

Qualifications:

  • 8-12 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Educational Background:

  • A minimum of an Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active Top Secret / SCI clearance is necessary.

Certification Requirements:

  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification is required.
