Responsibilities:
  • Administer and pass medications to residents according to prescribed schedules and procedures.
  • Monitor and report changes in resident's health status to the Nurse Manager.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Record vital signs and other patient information accurately and timely.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
  • Assist in care planning and implementation of resident care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, residents, and their families.
  • Adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Active and valid CNA and Medication Aide Certifications in the State of Oregon.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CNA Medication Aide in a Healthcare Setting.
  • Knowledge of medication administration and safe handling practices.
  • COVID Vaccinated.
  • BLS Certification (Preferred).
  • Clear criminal background check(s) & drug screening.
