Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break; flexible start and end times, with the option to adjust the lunch hour)

Compensation:
$28/hour

Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to enhance our logistics operations. This hybrid position allows for a blend of in-office collaboration and remote work flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

Freight Order Management:

Oversee the creation, management, and tracking of Freight Orders utilizing SAP S4, ensuring that all information is current and accurately reflects ongoing shipments.


Shipment Verification:

Methodically reconcile Freight Orders with actual Shipments and Nominations, ensuring all documentation is precise and complete.


Rate and Route Assessment:

Validate that rates and routes are applied correctly within the system, ensuring that all calculation tables are accurate and reflect the latest agreements.


Rail Rate Monitoring:

Track and reconcile actual shipments against rail rates, identifying and addressing any discrepancies to maintain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.


Financial Documentation:

Timely posting of Freight Settlement Documents, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with company policies.



Qualifications:
Proficiency in SAP S4, especially in freight management modules.
Strong attention to detail and capability to handle complex data.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordination with internal teams and external partners.
Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
