Job Description

Are you a skilled professional with a passion for industrial chiller systems? We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Industrial Chiller Systems Specialist to join our team at Comfort Systems USA MidAtlantic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assigned chiller maintenance and troubleshooting tasks in industrial and commercial settings, including manufacturing, healthcare, and educational facilities.
  • Service, diagnose, and troubleshoot various types of chillers, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Utilize electrical and mechanical diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues.
  • Oversee customer service needs, including quoting and estimating jobs, to provide exceptional support and satisfaction.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment, including chillers, split systems, rooftop units, cooling towers, and pumps, to ensure seamless operation.
  • Complete electronic documentation daily to maintain accurate records and facilitate efficient communication.
  • Operate company vehicles for service calls within a specified territory, promoting a safe and responsible work environment.
  • Assist with training and oversight of a small team of technicians, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and growth.
  • Participate in specialized safety and equipment training programs to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and advancements.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience repairing and troubleshooting industrial and commercial chiller systems.
  • Experience in servicing and maintaining commercial HVAC equipment, with a focus on chiller systems.
  • Comprehensive understanding of HVAC equipment/systems service and repair, including complaint resolution, sales, and quoting.
  • EPA universal certification, with OSHA 10-hour certification preferred.
